Southern Star Automotive was founded in 2005 by Alex, a qualified mechanical engineer since 1972. Since this time, the business has developed a solid reputation for delivering professional and friendly service, high standard general servicing and repairs, and no-nonsense pricing.
In 2016 Gabor (Gabi) had taken over the business, while working along side Alex for 3 years prior to this. The workshop has since been renovated, along with purchasing new equipment to cater for brand new vehicles and European cars.
Prior to coming to Australia, Gabor owned his own workshop in Hungary where he was an experienced roadworthy tester, worked on diesel vehicles and trucks.
Since coming to Australia, Gabor completed his Certificate 3 in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology, along becoming a VACC member.
Your safety and satisfaction are our top priorities. We are very happy to explain our work, show you defective parts that needed replacement and answer any questions you may have. If we find a major or urgent problem with your vehicle during a service, we will contact you to discuss the best course of action before proceeding with any further work.
After each job, you receive a full report of works undertaken including an itemised list of parts used and the labour component of the job.
